School Meals

We are incredibly fortunate at Cloughwood Academy to have our school meals freshly prepared and cooked on-site by our Catering Tutors with the support of our Kitchen Assistant, Julie.

Having an in-house school meal service not only allows us to provide a high quality meal for our pupils, but also provides the necessary facility for the Catering Team to deliver higher level courses in the Sixth Form.

The cost of a school meal is £2.30 for primary pupils and £2.50 for secondary pupils. Parents who pay for school meals will receive an SMS message at the end of each week, confirming the outstanding balance. This can be paid in cash to the school office or by BACS.

Free School Meals

Schools receive a Pupil Premium allocation for all students registered for free school meals.  This additional funding significantly contributes to improving standards and outcomes for all pupils at Cloughwood Academy.
